Brief History
The Waylon Jennings Museum is dedicated to showcasing the life and career of one of the most epic singers to lead the Outlaw Movement of the 1970s. The museum is an small, but powerful independent entity located in Nashville, TN and we are proud to be in business for over 10 years.
About Waylon
Waylon Jennings was, and still is, an important part of the country music pantheon. Born in Littlefield, TX, he rose to fame by playing bass in Buddy Holly's band. He eventurally struck out on his own determined to do his music his own unique way. With many #1 hits and 12 awards, including 2 Grammys to his name, he along with good friend Willie Nelson, helmed the Outlaw Movement which gave artists the creative freedom to make music how they wanted.
